If you have a discontinued IntelliScanner model that's no longer supported, this IntelliScanner Legacy Support website provides older downloads and resources to support your older scanner. We're pleased to provide this information to assist in your use of older models – however, the legacy models that are been discontinued for a number of years are no longer supported.

These apps are also discontinued: Wine, Kitchen, and Comics. You can read more about these apps in the Software section of this support site.

How can I receive technical support for my older IntelliScanner?

Our team has very limited information on discontinued models – some are nearly 20 years old! If your older IntelliScanner barcode reader or software (like Wine, Kitchen, and Comics) is unsupported, the entire scope of the information we have available is offered on this help website.

Can I upgrade to a new scanner?

If you have a discontinued IntelliScanner model and you'd like to upgrade to a newer scanner, we're pleased to offer a 35% discount on an IntelliScanner Pro (a corded USB scanner).

IntelliScanner Pro is entirely driverless and is recognized by your computer as a USB keyboard.

To get the 35% discount, e-mail a copy of your original purchase receipt to info@intelliscanner.com and refer to this page and offer.

Please take note that these IntelliScanner apps are discontinued: Wine, Kitchen, and Comics. You can read more about these apps in the Software section of this support site, and read more about how to use these apps with your new IntelliScanner in an unsupported way below.

I still use Wine, Kitchen, Comics, or another discontinued IntelliScanner app. Will a new IntelliScanner barcode reader work with these apps?

IntelliScanner Pro (a corded USB scanner) is entirely driverless and is recognized by your computer as a USB keyboard. As such, it will work with discontinued IntelliScanner software. However, you will a) have to download the old version of the IntelliScanner Software Package to not lose your software, and b) these apps are entirely unsupported by us at this point. So, yes, it will work, but please understand that we're no longer able to provide support service for discontinued software.

If you want to use the discontinued apps with a new scanner:

  1. After purchasing your scanner, download the legacy software package here (version 3.0.7) if you don't already have that version installed.

  2. Regardless of the model you purchased, select this scanner option during setup if prompted:

    Once you select the scanner on the right, you'll prompted to connect your scanner via USB. You don't need to -- just click Continue, then click Close on the last screen to finish the assistant. You're all set!
