How do I turn the beeping off?

The Scanabout plays a couple of different beeps to indicate it's status. You can turn off the beeping if you wish.

A word of caution - if you turn off the beeper, it can make it difficult to know if your Scanabout has successfully read a barcode, etc.

Download and print a copy of this worksheet - then scan the "BEEP OFF" barcode on the worksheet to turn off the beep.
