How do I get my movies/books to sort by the author/creator's last name?

Under Preferences for Media, there is an option to sort by last name -- to set the sort preference, click on the "Edit" menu in Media then select "Preferences". In the Preferences window, click on the "General" tab then make sure the option to "Sort Book/Movie Creator by Last Name", is checked.
